From ‘The wizard of Oz’ and considered to be the greatest movie songs of all time, it really moves me and was one of the first tunes that I tried to play on the flute. I’ve included my favourite part of the lyrics in the song - it’s something I relate to – the dreams that you dare to dream, really do come true…
lyrics
Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream,
Really do come true.
Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops,
High above the chimney tops,
That's where you'll find me.
